IPUMS GeoMarker is a utility for attaching local contextual data to user-provided addresses or locations. If a user provides addresses, GeoMarker applies geocoding to determine the latitude/longitude coordinates. Currently, the contextual data consist of 10 tract-level variables derived from the American Community Survey (ACS).
